All we did was took a stroll around the ice hotel and only spent an hour. We went on a super cold day and we were not able to stay outside longer.
- Enjoy viewing the crystal clear ice sculptures and beautiful rooms made solely by ice and snow.
Viewing a hotel that is made completely out of ice and snow, and it is being rebuilt every year.
This hotel is built using 500 tons of ice and 40,000 tons of snow every year and it the only ice hotel in North America.
Is it worth a visit?
This simple tour of this architectural wonder is well worth the trip if you live in Quebec or visiting Quebec city from Toronto. If you come from overseas, it would still worth a visit if you add other attraction in Quebec city or Montreal.
We only spent an hour strolling but if you are going to be doing other winter activities such as tubing or skiing, then it would take longer based on the outside temperature.
