H.R. Frink Conservation
H.R. Frink Conservation Area and Outdoor Education Centre
This beautiful conservation area has hiking trails on both the north and south sides of Thrasher Road for about 12 km long. The Centre’s Woodland Trail has over 25 tree species, and you find a tree guide below, and you can print it. It would be fun for kids to identify the trees while they hike.
The north side of the conservation area has an education centre where local school boards and Quinte Conservation offer some education programs. The north side of the conservation has forested trails and along the Moira River. The south side has many kilometres of trails and the most popular Wetland Ecology Boardwalk. The wetland boardwalk is easy to access throughout the year.

Why go to H.R. Frink Conservation Area?
If you are someone who lives closer to Bellville or even east of Toronto and would like to do some outdoor activity with a family, friends or kids, it is a great place to visit.
Is it worth a visit?
If you happen to be in a neighbourhood such as Toronto or Durham then it is a great place to visit. However, if you are coming from another country or province, this conservation park does not have any special features that may interest you. However, each angle of the boardwalk has a magnificent view and if you are a nature photographer you would like to capture swamps, beautiful birds and other reptiles.
